Pokémon Go Servers Down After DDOS Attack

Pokémon Go is offline again and this time a hacker group accepts the responsibility for taking down the game servers.

If you were one of the fans of Pokémon Go than should have noticed that the game servers were not very stable since the release of the game. But this time a hacker group named as PoodleCrop has announced the responsibility of taking the game servers down by using DDOS attack on Twitter.


A DDoS is an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple services.

The group have also warned of further attacks by saying that “Just was a lil test, we will do something on a larger scale soon.”


After the servers went down and game went offline due to attack, a large number of players went on to social media to express their anger and frustration.

As the developers have been warned by the hackers so they should try to get the fix as soon as they can.
