Microsoft Acquires another business after it’s Linkedin Acquisition

Microsoft, which recently wrapped up a deal with Linkedin earlier this week, is set to buy “Wand”, a startup that has been working from 2013 on the applications letting users chat with each other. Wand carried out trials of it’s service but it did not yet make it available for consumers.

Microsoft officials believe that the service “Wand” provides fits very well with the culture, technology and the services Microsoft provides.

Although acquired, Wand has hit the jackpot already since it was a startup and Microsoft’s acquisition would be something surreal for them.

There has been a recent trend in Microsoft of acquiring businesses under the leadership of it’s 2 year old CEO, Satya Nadella. The result of these trends are too early to be discussed but it seems that Microsoft are moving on after their not so successful acquisition of Nokia’s Lumia operations.
